Payment & Policies

Payment & Fees
We collect payment at the time services are provided so you can focus fully on your pet and your family, without follow-up billing or invoices.

We accept all major credit cards. Credit card payment only is accepted for all virtual visits. Credit card, cash and check payments are accepted for in-home visits only. Please note that a $20 fee will apply for any returned checks.

If you have questions about fees or services, we’re always happy to talk through options in advance. All services are private pay; we do not bill pet insurance directly.

Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances can change—especially during times of illness or transition. We do not charge cancellation fees and simply ask for 24 hours’ notice when possible so we may offer the appointment time to another family in need.

Scope of Services
Pet Hospice Partners provides education, guidance, quality-of-life support, and compassionate care coordination. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide veterinary medical treatment. All medical decisions, diagnostics, and prescribing remain the responsibility of your primary veterinarian.

Our role is to support you, your pet, and your veterinary team—helping you navigate complex decisions with clarity, compassion, and respect.
