How We Can Help

Quality of Life & Comfort Evaluation

Our Quality of Life & Comfort Evaluation offers a compassionate, unhurried look at your pet’s overall well-being—physically, emotionally, and within the context of your family and home.

During this 60-minute visit, we focus on comfort, clarity, and support. You’ll receive personalized guidance to help you care for your pet day-to-day, along with practical tools to better understand what your pet is experiencing and what options are available.

We work collaboratively with your veterinarian to assess comfort and discuss pain management considerations, while helping you feel more confident and informed in the decisions ahead—without pressure or urgency.

What’s Included:

- A comprehensive assessment of your pet’s comfort, mobility, appetite, and emotional well-being

- Quality-of-life evaluation tools to help you monitor changes over time

- Personalized recommendations for at-home care and daily routines

- Guidance on nutrition and dietary support, tailored to your pet’s needs

- Suggestions to enhance your pet’s home environment for safety, comfort, and enrichment

This visit is about understanding where your pet is right now and helping you feel supported as you navigate what comes next.

Is This Service Right for Me?

Many families find it most helpful to speak with a professional early on—when there is still time to plan, adjust care, and focus on comfort together. There is no “perfect time” though, so please know wherever you and your pet are - we’ll meet you there.

If…

  • Your pet has been diagnosed with a serious, chronic, or life-limiting condition

  • You’re noticing changes and wondering, “How do I know if they’re still comfortable?”

  • You’ve asked yourself, “Is it time?”

  • You want help understanding quality of life, not just medical numbers

  • You feel overwhelmed and want guidance without pressure

  • You’d like to be proactive rather than waiting for a crisis

  • You want to support your pet at home while staying connected to your veterinarian

…..then Pet Hospice Partners is here for you.

If you’re unsure whether this is the right step, please reach out. Sometimes the most important thing is simply starting the conversation.

Wyatt,

You were the first dog of our adult lives. You were there through college, apartments, houses, moves and children. You were the ring bearer at our wedding and the constant by my side.

You were the best companion - for us, our children and even all of the other pets over the years. A one of a kind- that’s for sure. We miss you every single day and still think about you and tell your stories. Miss you.
