This service is not necessarily for pets who are actively dying. Many families find it most helpful early on—when there is still time to plan, adjust care, and focus on comfort together.
If…
Your pet has been diagnosed with a serious, chronic, or life-limiting condition
You’re noticing changes and wondering, “How do I know if they’re still comfortable?”
You want help understanding quality of life, not just medical numbers
You feel overwhelmed and want guidance without pressure
You’d like to be proactive rather than waiting for a crisis
You want to support your pet at home while staying connected to your veterinarian
…..then Pet Hospice Partners is here for you.
If you’re unsure whether this is the right step, please reach out. Sometimes the most important thing is simply starting the conversation.

Pet Hospice Partners exists to support comfort, quality of life, and informed decision-making, while working in close collaboration with your pet’s primary veterinarian. To ensure your pet receives safe, ethical, and coordinated care, there are certain medical services we do not provide directly.
We do not make medical diagnoses or offer prognoses, and we do not perform surgical procedures. We also do not prescribe, adjust, or change medications or treatment plans. Any medical recommendations related to pain management or treatment options are discussed in partnership with—and ultimately directed by—your licensed veterinarian.
Additionally, hands-on medical tasks such as medication administration, injections, fluid therapy, grooming, and nail trimming are NOT provided at this time.
Our role is to:
Assess comfort and quality of life
Provide education, guidance, and emotional support
Help families understand options and next steps
Coordinate and communicate with your veterinary team
This collaborative approach ensures your pet’s care remains consistent, medically appropriate, and centered on both comfort and trust.
If you ever have questions about who should provide a specific aspect of care, we’re always happy to help guide you to the right resource.

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form, schedule a visit - or simply give us a call or text at (803) 200-2308—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.
-
Pet Hospice Partners is built on collaboration — not competition.
We work alongside your pet’s primary veterinarian, not in place of them. Our role is focused specifically on hospice support and quality-of-life education. We do not diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care. Instead, we reinforce your veterinarian’s recommendations while helping families understand what to expect between appointments.
We stay in our lane: comfort care, observation, education, and emotional support. That clarity allows us to extend care without disrupting the veterinary-client relationship.
It’s not just what we do — it’s how we do it: steady communication, defined boundaries, and shared goals centered on your pet’s comfort and dignity.
